Seth Ciferri is an American tattooist. He operated a tattoo shop in Baltimore, called Read Street Tattoo Parlour, from 1999 to 2006, and began his career in 1993, having served a traditional apprenticeship. Ciferri is credited with creating an online community called "The Read Street Tattoo Forum" in 2000 that eventually had a membership of thousands of tattoo artists, thereby hastening an exchange of technical information.[citation needed]
Ciferri is one of a small handful of tattooists that has been authorized by Chase Lisbon (close friend and creator of alt-porn site, Supercult.com) to give the coveted "Cult Banger" or simply "Banger" tattoo. He currently lives in Portland, is married, and has two children.
